I'm Abby, your resident plant lady, bird nerd, and maker of things! In 2022, I started Fresh Cuttery with a laser cutter and an idea - to create original, wearable works of art that showcase the infinite beauty of nature.
Using my background in design and wood as my canvas, I paint vibrant jewelry inspired by plants and animals. From flowers and veggies, to ocean creatures and land animals, my tiny paintings bring joy to their owners and those around!
Process
Each piece starts with an original digital illustration based on a plant or animal. These illustrations are laser-etched into cherry wood to create a painting canvas. In some cases, I layer multiple pieces of wood to create a 3D effect. I delicately paint each item to create a one-of-a-kind wearable work of art.
